Death of Master Zeisler

Master Zeisler dies on the 7th of June, 1990, giving the mission to monk Myoken to establish the Deshimaru lineage in Eastern Europe.

First Romanian trips

Monk Myoken began his mission in 1991 and 1992 with several trips to Romania.

First dojo in Bucharest

In 1993 the first Eastern-European zen dojo is founded in Bucharest, Romania.

Foundation of the Mokusho Zen House

In the following year, 1994, together with the establishment of the Zeisler Foundation, the Mokusho Zen Ház was founded in Uszó, center of the Hungarian Buddhist Church.

First dojo in Budapest

The first Hungarian dojo was founded in Budapest, Ilka street, 1995.

Building of Hoboji

In 1997 the first Eastern-European zen temple, Hoboji, was built in the sacred mountains of Pilis, Hungary.

Taisenji

In 2000, the Hungarian Sangha settled in the Taisenji zen temple, Budapest.

Dharma Transmission of Myoken

In 2002, monk Myoken received Dharma transmission from master Kosen Thibaut, heir of Niwa zenji.

Baker roshi

In 2003, Baker roshi, successor of Shunryu Suzuki and founder of the Dharma-Sangha Europe, visits Budapest, inaugurates a deep and fruitful relationship between the two lineages.

Building of Mokushozenji

In 2006, Koshin Nedelcu and the Romanian Sangha rebuilt entirely the old dojo of Bucharest to become the Mokushozenji temple

Dharma transmission of Keisen

In 2007, master Myoken gave Dharma transmission to Vincent Keisen Vuillemin, from Geneve, disciple of master Zeisler

White Plum

During these years (2007-2010) master Myoken established a connection with the disciples of Genpo rohsi; Genno roshi, Diane Musho Hamilton, Michel Dubois

Mokusho25

At the occasion of the 25th anniversary of master Zeisler’s death, in 2015, the great Sangha of Deshimaru gave him the honorific posthumous title ‘Sobo – Treasure of the Sangha’

Dharma Transmissions

In 2016 monk Myoken gave Dharma transmission to three disciples in the Deshimaru-Zeisler lineage: Maria Teresa Shogetsu Avila, Ionut Koshin Nedelcu and László Toryu Kálmán

Senkuji

The Hungarian and Chilien disciples of the Mokusho Zen Ház built a temple in Ecuador, to be opened in 2018-2019
